Job summary

W&O Supply in the United States is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator III to manage EMI shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material movement, ensuring ERP accuracy and smooth production flow. This senior role requires strong data integrity and the ability to resolve complex discrepancies.

You will lead and train Warehouse Coordinators I and II, verify materials against orders and BOMs, perform cycle counts, manage vendor returns, and uphold safety, traceability, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience; 5+ years in manufacturing or distribution preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
  • Ability to meet company and customer background, drug, and alcohol screening requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate shipping, receiving, picking, staging, storage, deliveries, and forklift operations to support production and customer schedules.
  • Verify material against purchase orders, packing slips, work orders, bills of material, and system records; confirm identity, quantity, condition, and documentation.
  • Complete accurate ERP transactions for receipts, issues, transfers, shipments, deliveries, work orders, vendor returns, and approved inventory adjustments.
  • Perform cycle counts, investigate variances, identify causes, and complete adjustments after Warehouse or Branch Manager approval.
  • Reverse purchase-order receipts and manage vendor returns; maintain traceability and coordinate resolution with Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Finance.
  • Process work orders without BOMs: receive products for Shop disassembly and accurately restock recovered components.
  • Recognize EMI products, common valve types, and components; identify, segregate, and report damaged, incorrect, or nonconforming material. Enter NCRs and CARs in Intelex as required.
  • Maintain safe, organized storage, labeling, locations, material flow, forklifts, tools, and warehouse equipment; coordinate warehouse consumables.
  • Audit warehouse records and practices; develop and implement improvements that increase inventory accuracy, safety, efficiency, and material flow.
  • Lead and train Warehouse Coordinator I and II employees; communicate shortages, discrepancies, risks, and delivery status clearly to internal and external customers.
  • Coordinate complex warehouse work with limited supervision and keep production material moving.
  • Own inventory accuracy, advanced ERP transactions, audit readiness, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Recognize damaged or nonconforming material, initiate required records, and elevate approval decisions.
  • Train and mentor junior coordinators while modeling safe, organized, customer-focused execution.

Position Summary

Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Advanced inventory control, ERP data entry, cycle counting, variance investigation, and transaction reconciliation.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving records, purchase orders, work orders, bills of material, vendor returns, and material traceability.
  • Safe forklift and material-handling practices; cautious driving; strong mechanical aptitude and hand/power-tool knowledge.
  • Ability to recognize products, components, damage, and nonconforming conditions before material enters or leaves inventory.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, time management, customer service, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality; ability to manage priorities and work overtime, nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.
  • Basic Carpentry skills to build wooden crates and skids for shipping as needed
Preferred Training and Certifications
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain it required
  • TWIC and basic OSHA safety training are preferred
Quality and Safety

Follow EMI quality, safety, traffic, material-handling, and record-control requirements. Stop and report unsafe conditions, damaged material, and process or inventory errors.

Essential Physical Functions
  • Lift and carry up to50 pounds.
  • Bend, stoop, walk, and stand for extended periods. Climb ladders and stairs
  • Operate vehicles, forklifts, material-handling equipment, machinery, and power tools.
