Description

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting the tracking and updates of our domestic transportation shipments, including updating systems and reports with tracking updates. They ensure all trucks en route have successfully transmitted the Advanced Order File and subsequent EDI 215/214 messages. For providers not set up with the AOF 215/214 process, they monitor order drops. After the 3PL trucks leave the warehouse, they review the transmitted orders to the hub to ensure error-free receipt. They communicate with the warehouse, regional team, and carriers to obtain updates and provide status updates.

Essential Functions and Competencies of the Position

• Tracking trucks with transportation carriers
• Submitting and monitoring all AOF 215 transmissions to the hubs
• Monitoring outbound trucks for on-time arrival to hubs
• Monitoring on-time delivery of store transfers to the hubs daily
• Reporting to OM/AOMs about potential delays
• Adapting to change quickly and performing effectively during times of change
• Using systems, spreadsheets, and tools to provide visibility and updates
• Building respectful and effective working relationships
• Striving to meet or exceed customer standards
• Acting as a self-starter and taking on increased responsibilities
• Maintaining integrity, honesty, and responsibility for actions

Education, Experience, and Other Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• Some customer service and call center experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems
• Understanding of warehousing and distribution practices
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain confidentiality
• Flexibility with work hours and regular attendance
