Role Overview

The Warehouse Coordinator supports daily warehouse operations by ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory. Responsibilities include coordinating shipping, receiving, and stock management activities, working closely with staff and management to meet operational goals while maintaining safety and compliance. Our supply chain focuses on providing superior service, quality, and efficiency to meet our customers' needs.

Compensation and Schedule

Starting pay rate: $19.75/hr

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding ongoing operations.
• Perform logistics-related functions accurately and timely.
• Assist colleagues during peak workload periods.
• Conduct daily inventory cycle counts.
• Verify slot and reserve allocations consistently.
• Enter data into inventory and receiving systems.
• Support studies and projects for managers/coordinators.
• Participate in reclamation and recovery of warehouse damages.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Previous warehouse clerical experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in inventory control is a plus.
• Good judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Experience

Previous warehouse or selecting experience preferred.

Work Environment

• This is an onsite role at one of our UNFI locations, such as a distribution center or office.

Physical Demands

Most work occurs in a temperature-controlled office environment. Must be able to sit for long periods, use hands and arms, reach, and communicate effectively. May involve stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching.
