We are seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to support daily inventory control and overall warehouse operations. This role coordinates the movement and flow of raw materials from receiving through production support and ensures accurate, on-time shipping of finished goods to storage locations and customers. The Warehouse Coordinator also provides day-to-day oversight and coordination of Shipping/Receiving activities as directed by the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control
  • Coordinate and support daily shipping/receiving operations and inventory control activities.
  • Move, store, and stage materials and finished goods based on production and shipping requirements.

  • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits, reconcile variances, and adjust records as appropriate.
  • Prepare, stage, and verify outbound shipments (LTL/UPS/rail/road) to ensure accuracy and on-time performance.
  • Receive inbound materials: unload, inspect, verify documentation/quantities, complete shipping/receiving logs and QC sheets, and store product in assigned locations.
  • Ensure shipping and receiving documentation is complete and properly routed (packing lists, bills of lading, freight logs, etc.).
  • Keep warehouse areas organized, clean, and audit-ready (including routine sweeping and general housekeeping).
Leadership & Coordination
  • Provide additional oversight, direction, coaching, and mentoring to Shipping/Receiving personnel as directed.
  • Promote accountability and ensure work is performed in accordance with GMPs and SOPs.

  • Ensure strict adherence to EH&S policies and procedures.
  • Conduct daily safety/operational inspections on warehouse equipment and document results.
  • Use forklift and equipment safely and in accordance with training and site rules.
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions immediately; proactively support safety improvements.
Quality

  • Visually inspect inbound raw materials for damage; document damage on the bill of lading before the carrier departs.
  • Ensure inbound/outbound documentation matches actual product and quantities.
  • Confirm outbound pallets are secured properly, free of damage, and meet shipment requirements.
  • Escalate quality concerns to the Facility Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor as needed.
Equipment & Facility Checks
  • Perform daily inspection of powered industrial equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) and maintain inspection documentation.
  • Support basic equipment care (including battery care where applicable) and report defects/issues.
  • Inspect dock plates, roll-up doors, and other warehouse-related facility items for safe operation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills; able to coach and guide others.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a “do what it takes” attitude (hours may vary based on operational needs).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate expectations and follow up to ensure completion.
  • Ability to read English and interpret SOPs and warehouse documentation.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse flow from receiving through shipping—or ability to learn quickly.
