Job summary

Boland, a leading HVAC and building systems provider in the DC–Northern Virginia region, is hiring a Warehouse Coordinator in Chantilly, VA. The role focuses on receiving, stocking, shipping, inventory control, and coordination with vendors.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and about two years of warehouse experience; forklift experience is a plus, with proficiency in MS Office and Outlook. This onsite position offers growth and training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Staging, shipping, and receiving parts, equipment, and supplies.
• Stock the supply stores with an appropriate amount of merchandise.
• Inventory control.
• Enter inventory into software system.
• Filing freight bills of lading, equipment packing slips, etc. for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes.
• Filing freight claims for damaged goods.
• Manage receipt, inspection, and stocking of products.
• Determining inventory levels, identifying and disposing of excess and obsolete inventory, and maintaining system inventory accuracy.
• Flexible to work outside normal business hours; weekends could be required for inventory.
• Practice safe material handling techniques.
• Other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Coordinator

Responsible for the coordination of the store's on-site activities, managing receipt, stocking, and shipping of products; staging for delivery client orders; and all purchasing transactions with Trane and local vendors.

What You Will Do

What We're Looking For

• High school graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Two years of warehouse experience is preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Knowledgeable in MS Office & Outlook
• Organized, punctual, detail-oriented, takes initiative, keeps area and warehouse clean

Physical Requirements

• Able to climb ladders to put stock away
• Regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard, phone, reach with hands and arms
• Frequently required to stand for long periods of time, walk, and sit
• Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Must regularly lift and/ or move up to 25lbs, frequently lift and/ or move up to 50lbs, and occasionally lift and/ or move more than 100lbs with a device
