Job summary

Staffmark Group in Torrance, CA is hiring a Warehouse Clerk to support inbound and outbound shipments, inventory control, and data entry in a fast-paced distribution environment. The role requires reliable work, attention to detail, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and strong communication as part of a team; schedule is Tue-Sat 6am-2:30pm with overtime possible, pay $23 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in warehouse, CFS, air freight, or logistics preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new processes and software as required.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound air freight and transit warehouse receiving.
• Maintain CFS cage inventory control.
• Process outbound shipments and assist with truckload dispatching.
• Complete Worldport and System Matrix data entry.
• Scan freight and shipment documents for accurate tracking.
• Create and print FedEx shipping labels.
• Follow applicable U.S. airport security and cargo-handling requirements.
• Complete quality control reports and resolve shipment discrepancies.
• Verify freight, labels, paperwork, and shipment information.
• Communicate with drivers, warehouse personnel, and management.
• Follow all safety, security, and company procedures.

Job Duties

• Process inbound air freight and transit warehouse receiving.

• Ability to learn new processes, procedures, equipment, or software as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a related industry or similar position is preferred.
• Experience working in fast-paced, customer-focused, manufacturing, warehouse, administrative, or professional environments is beneficial depending on the assignment.
• Relevant certifications, technical training, or specialized skills are considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are well positioned for success as a WAREHOUSE CLERK.
