Staffmark Group is hiring a Warehouse Logistics Associate in Torrance, CA. The role supports picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control to keep products moving efficiently.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and break down incoming shipments and freight.
• Sort, stage, and organize materials for storage and distribution.
• Load, unload, and transport materials using warehouse equipment.
• Verify shipping/receiving paperwork and maintain inventory records.
• Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies.
• Follow warehouse safety, quality, and procedural standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Location: Torrance, CA

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Schedules Available

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

Looking for Warehouse Logistics Associate jobs in Torrance where every day keeps products moving? This opportunity lets you support warehouse operations through picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling while helping ensure orders are completed safely and accurately.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Previous warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, cargo handling, or import/export experience preferred.
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift is required.
• Knowledge of pallets, skids, freight processing, and material handling procedures preferred.

Job Duties

• Receive, inspect, and break down incoming shipments, pallets, skids, containers, and freight.
• Sort, stage, and organize materials for storage, distribution, and production support.
• Load, unload, and transport materials using warehouse equipment.
• Verify shipping and receiving paperwork and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies as needed.
• Follow warehouse, logistics, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Logistics Associate.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
