Staffmark Group is seeking an Inventory Clerk in Santa Fe Springs, CA, offering a 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with some Saturdays. The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, bin locations, and ERP traceability while ensuring SOP compliance and timely restocking.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED, forklift/crane/hOist training, and 3 years in aerospace/manufacturing warehouse environments with strong Excel/MRP/ERP skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy of physical inventory and locations.
• Ensure traceability in the bin level and ERP system.
• Maintain proper bin location and identification of inventory.
• Comply with standard operating procedures.
• Reconcile physical inventory daily with ERP and prepare reports.
• Record adjustments and track products using inventory controls.
• Enter data into MRP/ERP and manage stock movements.
• Close job orders timely and support restocking.

Inventory Clerk

Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA

Pay Rate: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Some Saturdays

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, and some technical school


• Forklift, hoist, and crane trained/certified

Experience Requirements

• 3 years of experience working in an aerospace and/or manufacturing warehouse


• 2 years in an AS9100 environment


• Strong computer skills required with knowledge of Excel/Microsoft Office, MRP/ERP


• Knowledge of aerospace specifications, quality codes, and standards


• Able to understand and perform basic math


• Must be accurate and detailed with minimum errors

Job Duties

• Maintain the accuracy of physical inventory of all raw material, hardware, semi-finished, and finished goods inventory counts and location


• Ensure traceability at the bin level and through the ERP system


• Maintain proper bin location and identification of inventory


• Ensure compliance with departmental standard operating procedures


• Reconcile physical inventory daily (cycle counts) with the ERP system and prepare inventory level reports


• Record adjustments to physical inventory, calculate inventory, and track product and material using computerized inventory control procedures


• Maintain files of inventory-related documentation and enter data into the MRP/ERP system


• Perform restocking process and material movement within the manufacturing areas and warehouse as required


• Ensure timely closure of job order requests
