Job summary

K&M Tire in Merrimack, NH is seeking a Warehouse Backup Driver who will unload and load trucks, pull/pick tires, and stock products in designated locations.

You'll operate forklifts and carts, maintain a safe, organized warehouse, and support the Route Truck Driver I duties as needed. This full-time role offers benefits and internal growth opportunities within a team-focused environment. Schedule: Mon-Fri 6am-3pm; K&M Tire is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds; 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to operate safely a forklift, tire cart, pallet jack and order picker.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively.
• Ability to learn tire knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Unload semi-trailers and assist loaders for semi-trailers and route trucks.
• Use equipment to verify, pull/pick, and put away tires/products accurately.
• Keep tires/products in designated locations with tags out and restocked as needed.
• Maintain safety with proper equipment use (seat-belts, order picker harnesses).
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Load multi-warehouse transfer trucks.
• Perform all duties of Route Truck Driver I as needed.
• Support Warehouse Manager’s decisions and company goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned and align with K&M values.
• Receive loads via product number verification and check-in.
• Perform Amazon/Walmart pulling/picking and shipping where required.
• Load all route trucks.
