Job summary

K&M Tire is seeking a Warehouse Backup Driver to support unloading/loading trucks, pull/put-away tires, and stock management. You will work under the Warehouse Manager or Team Leader, ensuring safe operation and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities include using equipment to verify loads, restocking, and assisting with route trucks. A valid license and ability to lift heavy weights are required; growth opportunities exist through internal promotion.

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds; 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to operate safely a forklift, tire cart, pallet jack and order picker.
• Ability to learn and utilize scanning devises to accurately confirm tire and shipment
• Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled. Temperatures can be cold in the winter and hot in the summer.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet job requirements of Route Driver Level I

Responsibilities

• Unload semi-trailers and assist loaders for semi-trailers and route trucks.
• Use equipment to verify, pull, and store tires/products.
• Place tires/products in designated locations with tags out and restocked as needed.
• Work safely at all times and use safety equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Load multi-warehouse transfer trucks.
• Perform all duties of Route Truck Driver I when needed.
• Support Warehouse Manager’s decisions and company goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Uphold K&M values and promote from within where possible.
• Receive loads via product number verification and check-in.
• Perform Amazon/Walmart pulling/picking and shipping.
• Load all route trucks.
