Job summary

K&M Tire is seeking a Warehouse Employee Backup Driver in Barnesville, MN. You will unload and load trucks, assist with route shipments, and pull/pick tires and products.

This role emphasizes safety, inventory accuracy, and teamwork in a busy warehouse environment. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and order pickers, maintaining organized storage, and supporting warehouse leadership with shipping and receiving tasks.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a multi-task environment.
• Able to prioritize and organize effectively.
• Able to work independently as well as on a team.
• Able to communicate and express ideas effectively.
• Ability to learn tire knowledge.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds; 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Operate safely a fork lift, tire cart, pallet jack and order picker.
• Learn and utilize scanning devices to confirm tire and shipment.
• Work in a climate not controlled (cold in winter, hot in summer).
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Unloading semi-trailers and assisting loaders for semi-trailers and route trucks.
• Use equipment to verify, pull/pick, and put away tires/products.
• Keep tires/products in designated locations with tags out and restocked as needed.
• Maintain safety and proper usage of equipment and seat belts/order picker harnesses.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Load multi-warehouse transfer trucks.
• Perform duties of Route Truck Driver I as needed.
• Support Warehouse Manager’s decisions and company goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Support company goals and uphold K&M values.
• Receive load through product number verification and check-in.
• Perform Amazon/Walmart pulling/picking and shipping.
• Load all route trucks.
