Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician to observe, learn, and assist with basic repairs and preventive maintenance of warehouse equipment, including doors, docks, conveyors, and electrical systems, in compliance with OSHA standards.

You will participate in training, maintain maintenance records, and support safety testing as part of the role. Responsibilities include performing lubrication, inspections, and adjustments; keeping tools and areas organized;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
• Mathematical and documentation skills required.
• Basic computer skills including email, internet searches, and data entry.
• HAZMAT responder training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Observe, learn, and assist with basic repairs and maintenance tasks throughout the warehouse.
• Attend and participate in all training sessions as directed.
• Clean, change, and lubricate machinery parts using appropriate tools and methods.
• Maintain tools, machinery, and shop areas in clean and operational condition.
• Conduct tests of safety equipment to ensure OSHA compliance and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records and assist with security alarm calls.
• Perform housekeeping duties and keep work areas organized.
• Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
