Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Automation Engineer to identify, pilot, and deploy new automation technologies across diverse warehousing environments.

You will collaborate with operations, IT, and business stakeholders to demonstrate value and feasibility of solutions, while guiding pilots, proofs of concept, and deployment across sites. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years in warehouse automation and related tech.
• Knowledge of automation types (sortation, autonomous vehicles, AS/RS).
• Experience with financial ROI analysis to justify projects.
• Familiarity with CAD, simulation, and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation selection and ROI justification for new projects.
• Validate vendor FSD/SOW using checklists.
• Review design options for cost, clearance, SLA.
• Procure automation components and review vendor options.
• Manage smaller implementation projects and track milestones.
• Coordinate on-site support and SAT testing.
• Profile data and perform analytics to optimize systems.
• Support SAT testing and punch list tracking.
• Set team goals with manager.
• Track project spend with project leads.
• Resolve Priority 1-5 tickets with vendors.
