Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Austin, TX is seeking a Warehouse Automation Engineer to identify, pilot, deploy and optimize warehouse automation technologies across operations.

You will lead automation selection, build ROI analyses, and collaborate with operations, IT and solutions teams to demonstrate value and scale successful deployments. Travel up to 30-40% and contribute to SAT testing, vendor reviews, and post-go-live support to improve uptime and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years in warehouse automation or related field.
• Experience with warehouse management operations, data analytics, lean methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation selection and ROI justification for new projects.
• Develop inputs for SOW and vendor reviews; support project leads.
• Manage small projects, track milestones and punch lists; support SAT testing.
