Job summary

ADUSA Distribution in Manchester, CT, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support distribution center shipping and receiving. You will move products accurately and safely, manage palletized orders, and operate material handling equipment as part of a fast-paced team.

Must be able to operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Complete all shipping/receiving paperwork accurately.
Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen foods and dairy orders for shipment to stores.
Operate pallet jacks, forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
Conduct pre-operational checks of equipment per policy.
Maintain clean, safe work area and sanitation practices.
Suggest procedural improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
