Qualifications

• Certified on powered industrial equipment where applicable.
• Able to use a personal computer for data entry and research purposes.
• Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple task in a fast paced environment.
• High School Education.
• Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks as directed by supervisor or designee.
• Complete all documents related to shipping and/or receiving tasks.
• Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen food and dairy orders for shipment to retail stores accurately.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-operational checks of pallet jacks or forklifts per policy.
• Follow sanitation practices; keep work area clean and debris-free.
• Suggest procedural improvements to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
