Job summary

ADUSA Distribution, the distribution arm of Ahold Delhaize USA, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform shipping and receiving in our distribution center. You will help move product accurately and safely, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and support inventory control across fresh and non-perishable items.

This role requires a high school diploma, equipment certification if applicable, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School Education.
• Certified on powered industrial equipment where applicable.
• Able to use a personal computer for data entry and research purposes.
• Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks that may be assigned by supervisor or designee.
• Complete all documents related to shipping and/or receiving tasks.
• Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen food and dairy orders for shipment to retail stores accurately.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform pre-operational checks of pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Follow good sanitation practices; keep work area clean and debris-free.
• Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
