Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a Seasonal Package Handler in Houston, TX. This part-time role offers weekly pay and a seasonal bonus during a peak holiday period. Shifts run Monday–Thursday, Wednesday–Sunday, or Friday–Tuesday with an early start, and typical shifts last about four hours. Training is provided, with potential opportunities beyond the season.

No prior warehouse experience is required; loyalty and energy are valued as you help move thousands of packages safely and on time during the season.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed
• Able to pass pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law
• Willing to work overtime when needed

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work area for action-ready operations
• Work as part of a team to ensure on-time delivery of packages

This role is eligible for overtime pay consistent with applicable law.

What You’ll Need

To join our team, you’ll need to:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Be dependable and available for your scheduled shift, including weekends or holidays when needed
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require

Physical Requirements

This is an active warehouse role. With or without reasonable accommodation, you must be able to:

• Repeatedly lift packages as described above
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during your scheduled shift
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull and squat while handling packages
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout your shift
• Work in hot or cold environments, as temperature control capabilities may be limited in the warehouse environment

Premium Holiday Pay

• Premium pay for hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
