Job summary

OnTrac is hiring Seasonal Package Handlers to power the holiday rush at our Indianapolis facility. You’ll unload, sort, and load parcels while staying active and part of a supportive team.

That role offers $17 per hour with overtime eligibility and flexible shifts. Training is provided; prior warehouse experience is not required. This temporary position runs late Oct to early Jan, with weekly pay and potential for future opportunities.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for your scheduled shift, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Ability to perform tasks, including repeatedly lifting packages and standing/walking for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently throughout your shift.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during your scheduled shift.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Work in hot or cold environments as temperature control capabilities may be limited in the warehouse environment.
• Keep your workspace organized and ready for action.
• Help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.

THE QUICK FACTS

Location: 4910 W. 78th St. Indianapolis, IN 46268
Pay: $17/hr
This role is eligible for overtime pay consistent with applicable law.
Shifts Hours: 3:45 AM to 8:00 AM or End of Sort.
(Variable days; approximately 4-5 days/week, 16-20 hours total)
Hours may vary based on business needs. “End of Sort” is defined as the completion of all required sort work for the day and clean-up activities, as directed by site management.
Season Duration*: 10/27/2026 to 01/01/2027

THE JOB: YOUR PAID WORKOUT

What You’ll Need

• Be at least 18 years old

• Be able to meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law
• Ability to perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
• Repeatedly lift packages as described above
• Stand, walk, bend, lift, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Work in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• No previous warehouse experience required. We’ll provide the training you need to succeed.
