Job summary

NTW - National Tire Wholesale is hiring for a full-time Distribution Center Associate to join our warehouse team. You will operate material handling equipment, load and unload shipments, and ensure accurate receipt and fulfillment of orders using RF scanning technology.

Starting pay is $17.00–$22.00 per hour, dependent on experience, with benefits and opportunities for growth. Prior DC experience and RF familiarity are helpful, and forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners preferred.
• Safety first mentality and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Prior distribution center or warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate various MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in a safe and efficient manner.
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products.
• Unload and put-away product utilizing RF technology.
• Inspect inbound for overages and shortages.
• Pick and stage product.
• Load truck(s) and maintain warehouse organization.
• Assist center to optimize operations and customer service.
• Participate in cycle counts or physical inventory as required.
• Maintain a clean work area and assist in sanitation of the DC.
• Complete MHE reports per company policy and OSHA regulations.
• Perform other tasks as defined by Supervisor or Center Manager.
