Job summary

W.W. Grainger, Inc. in Fargo, ND seeks a Distribution Center Associate to support inventory integrity, order processing, picking, packing, staging, and shipping in a fast-paced environment.

You will report to a DC Supervisor or Process Manager and collaborate with other DC Associates to ensure accuracy and efficiency. The role emphasizes safety, attendance, and reliability, with a focus on meeting customer expectations and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Able to frequently lift up to 75 pounds.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and physical lifting assessment.
• For PIE operators: operate warehouse vehicles (Crown, Pacer, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Barrett, Turret Truck and Forklift).

Responsibilities

• Safely complete inbound and/or outbound warehouse tasks with attention to detail (unloading, sorting, labeling, replenishing, auditing, picking, packing).
• Ensure products are shipped correctly to meet quality and delivery expectations.
• Meet safety, quality, productivity, and attendance requirements; manage overtime as needed.
• Operate scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe workspace per OSHA and hazardous materials rules.
• Perform other tasks as directed by leadership.
