Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Clayton, OH is seeking Warehouse Associates to support parts distribution at the Clayton Distribution Center. You will help get parts to customers, sort items, build protective carriers for engines, and operate equipment such as reach trucks and cherry pickers.

A strong safety mindset and reliable attendance are essential. Positions offer base pay of $19.01/hour with night shift premiums, overtime potential, and comprehensive benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• Safety mindset and PPE adherence are required.
• Proven work history of at least 12 months in previous roles.
• Ability to read/write English and follow instructions.
• Experience with warehouse equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform warehousing tasks including receiving, storing, packing and shipping.
• Operate handheld scanner for receiving, counting, and order processing.
• Be trained on cherry picker, reach truck, sit-down forklift, or overhead crane as needed.
• Report defects and need for repairs to maintain equipment and safety.
• Assemble wooden shipping containers and apply protective finishes as required.
• Follow safety procedures and keep work area clean and organized.
