Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Operations team member for a Sunday 6:30 p.m. – 3:00 a.m. shift.

The role pays $23.55 per hour (includes shift differential) and offers paid time off in accordance with laws. It is eligible for benefits and requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, and stand for the full shift. Responsibilities include picking and packing orders, quality checks, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with technologies like computers or point of sale systems is a plus.
• PIT experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders, including picking, quality checks, sorting, pallet building, packing, loading and shipment preparation.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as assigned by management.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks, maintaining a clean work environment and complying with EH&S requirements.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to process orders including accurately picking, performing quality control checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing, loading and preparing the orders for shipment.
• Responsible for cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and/or participates in projects as assigned by your manager or other management team member.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks, maintaining a clean work environment including complying with all Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
