Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Operations teammate in Syracuse, NY. The role involves receiving, picking, packing and shipping products, ensuring accurate orders and safe operations. You will be cross-trained across warehouse areas and may drive material handling equipment after training.

Shift is roughly 18 hours weekly with a Sunday night set schedule and some flexible weekday evenings; benefits include 401k, PTO, and early wage access. No prior warehouse experience required.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working at heights 20–30 ft regularly.
• Able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for full shifts.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic English literacy to read and write documents.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced distribution environment.

About the Role

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers. No matter what you do at Cardinal Health, you make a difference. Our warehouse team members make it all happen. You will receive and fulfill orders so our customers can have the products they need to take care of their patients.

Schedule & Hours

• Shift/schedule: Roughly 18 hours weekly
• Night shift/ 3rd Shift Sunday 6:00pm - 2:30am (Always set)
• Flex work on Monday - Thursday 8:00pm - 1:00am (2 days during the week)
• Sunday is set but other days are flexible.

• Cross‑training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.

• Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.

Qualifications

• Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus
• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
