Job summary

ThyssenKrupp Materials NA, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to support storage and shipping of materials in a fast-paced environment on the second shift. You will perform sorting, stocking, packing, and operating material handling equipment on the warehouse floor, with emphasis on safety and quality.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, basic math, reading and writing, and the ability to use scanning technology. Pre-employment drug testing is required due to safety-sensitive designation.

Responsibilities

• Sort, stack, clean, wash, stock and inspect cartons, pallets or parts.

• Support machine operators as needed on the warehouse floor.
• Perform general clean-up and maintain equipment.
• Report issues to supervisor immediately; participate in safety initiatives.
• Train others when required; comply with Lean initiatives.

Job Summary

In a warehouse environment, perform a variety of activities related to the storage and shipping of raw material and/or finished product in order to support the overall operation and exceed customer expectations.

2nd shift pay $19-$22

Key Accountabilities:

• Perform sorting, stacking, cleaning, washing, stocking and inspection of cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned to support the operation.
• Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork according to instructions.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move/deliver stock
• Assist machine operators with a variety of functions as required to support the operation.
• Perform general clean-up activities.
• Maintain all equipment in working condition; report issues or breakdowns to Supervisor or Lead immediately.
• Train others when required.
• Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.

Job Compensation

$17.75 - $24.01
