Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking a warehouse associate to support storage and shipping of raw materials and finished products. You will perform sorting, packing, and inventory tasks while operating material handling equipment on the warehouse floor.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork, with opportunities to train others and participate in Lean initiatives. Health, safety, and quality standards are integral to daily activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to use and understand scanning technology.
• Safety Mindset.

Responsibilities

• Sort, stack, clean, wash, stock and inspect cartons, pallets or parts as assigned to support the operation.
• Assist in filling and packaging orders and complete paperwork according to instructions.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move/deliver stock.
• Assist machine operators with a variety of functions as required to support the operation.
• Perform general clean-up activities.
• Maintain all equipment in working condition; report issues or breakdowns to Supervisor or Lead immediately.
• Train others when required.
• Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality and Lean initiatives and requirements.
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.

Your responsibilities

Job Summary In a warehouse environment, perform a variety of activities related to the storage and shipping of raw material and/or finished product in order to support the overall operation and exceed customer expectations.
