Job summary

Thyssenkrupp in Wallingford, CT is seeking a warehouse associate to handle the storage and shipping of raw materials and finished goods, supporting operations and exceeding customer expectations.

The role involves sorting, stacking, stocking, and inspecting items; operating forklifts and cranes; assisting with packing, paperwork, and machine operation; and maintaining equipment with a safety-first mindset. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring pre-employment drug testing.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Summary

In a warehouse environment, perform a variety of activities related to the storage and shipping of raw material and/or finished product in order to support the overall operation and exceed customer expectations.

2nd shift pay $19-$22

• Perform sorting, stacking, cleaning, washing, stocking and inspection of cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned to support the operation.
• Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork according to instructions.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move/deliver stock
• Assist machine operators with a variety of functions as required to support the operation.
• Perform general clean-up activities.
• Maintain all equipment in working condition; report issues or breakdowns to Supervisor or Lead immediately.
• Train others when required.
• Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.

This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.

Job Compensation
