Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA is hiring Warehouse Associates for 1st shift to support storage, sorting, packing, and shipping of materials in a busy warehouse environment.

The role involves operating forklifts and other equipment, performing quality checks, and adhering to safety and Lean initiatives. A high school diploma and basic computer/reading skills are required, with more on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to use and understand scanning technology.
• Safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform sorting, stacking, cleaning, washing, stocking and inspection of cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned to support the operation.
• Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork according to instructions.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move/deliver stock.
• Assist machine operators with a variety of functions as required to support the operation.
• Perform general clean-up activities.
• Maintain all equipment in working condition; report issues or breakdowns to Supervisor or Lead immediately.
• Train others when required.
• Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.

We are hiring Warehouse Associates on 1st shift. Pay up to $22.00 per hour.

• Perform sorting, stacking, cleaning, washing, stocking and inspection of cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned to support the operation.


• Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork according to instructions.
