Job summary

University of Kentucky is seeking a STEPS Warehouse Worker - Supply Center in Lexington, KY. This temporary, full-time position supports warehouse operations, including pulling orders, receiving stock, stocking shelves and coordinating deliveries for campus departments.

Work hours are Monday–Friday 7 a.m.–4 p.m. with occasional evenings and weekends; lifting up to 50 pounds and possible minor computer entry work may be required. A valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order prep.
• Reliable team player with good customer service.

Responsibilities

• Pulling and preparing orders for delivery to campus departments.
• Receiving items into warehouse and confirming counts.
• Stocking shelves and organizing storage areas.
• Loading and unloading vehicles and assisting with deliveries as needed.
• May perform minor computer entry tasks.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and orderly warehouse conditions.
• Other duties typical of warehouse work.
