Job summary

Operations in Texas is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping products while keeping the warehouse safe and orderly.

You will work from elevated platforms, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, perform loading/unloading, inspect for damage and maintain accurate inventory.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year in warehouse work, basic math, and basic English reading/writing.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more in Warehouse/Distribution experience.
• Able to lift boxes and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepares orders by packing product for shipping.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and raised-platform equipment.

• Sort received product on racks, shelves or bins according to sequence.

Job description

The position of Warehouse Associate is responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, pick/pack operations, preparing and shipping of product for customer delivery, while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

Essential Functions

• Prepares orders by packing product for shipping.
• Work from elevated platforms to fulfill product orders using a motorized raised-platform order fulfillment equipment
• Safely operates and performs warehouse functions using warehouse equipment such as manual and powered pallet jacks, forklifts, raised-platform equipment and related tools.
• Performing loading and unloading of trucks while inspecting products for damage and completing required carrier documentation
• Sorts and places received product on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.

Additional Responsibilities

• Performs housekeeping duties to ensure a clean work environment as well as overall personal cleanliness.
• Conducts Inventory count
• May lift boxes

Education

• High School or GED General Studies - Required

Experience

• 1 year or more in Warehouse/Distribution experience.
