Position Title: Warehouse Inventory Coordinator

General Summary
This position is responsible for participating in all shipping and receiving activities of the branch to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all necessary materials, supplies, and equipment to installation job sites.
Essential Job Functions
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy of contents, route shipment to correct job site.
- Assemble orders according to company procedure.
- Issue or distribute materials, products, and supplies to installers or project managers, based on incoming requisitions.
- Create and ship confirm all stock transfers to Central Warehouse, returning excess materials and/or claims.
- Walk through warehouse to check on old items, claims, and excess material. Items should not be here longer than 30 days for tiles and 14 days for carpet. Check order or change order status.
- Maintain inventory location accuracy through JDE Bin Transfers when necessary.
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
- Ensure adherence to warehouse safety standards. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders, and other tools and equipment following OSHA standards.
- Read picking tickets, communicate effectively, and use independent judgment to make decisions.
- Ensure picking ticket is ready to be printed, with material status at 540 and current stock items on the ticket.
- Ensure sales order is ready to close after labor receiving is complete.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse area.
- Utilize inventory management/ERP software.
- Perform other logistics, warehousing, and administrative duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for effective distribution of goods.

- Ability to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior flooring industry experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Forklift experience required.
Other Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull loads over 50 lbs.
- Use of hands and arms in handling, installing, and moving materials.
- Continuous standing or near-continuous.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Travel: negligible.
- Valid Driver's License A is a plus.
