What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage outgoing and incoming phone calls, providing results and relaying information between providers and patients
- Schedule follow-up appointments and surgeries
- Utilize the Electronic Medical Record system and scheduling system effectively
- Ensure excellent customer service over the phone, as there is no hands-on patient care
- Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and achieve a typing speed of 35+ wpm
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum education and certification/licensure as a Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse
- Excellent telephone customer service skills
- Familiarity with computers and electronic medical records
- Ability to navigate the Microsoft Office Suite
- Typing speed of 35+ wpm, tested during the interview
