La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Warehouse Associate II in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will handle receiving, storage, and distribution of products within the warehouse environment. You must be capable of operating heavy industrial equipment like forklifts and cherry pickers, and perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items.
The position requires a minimum of one year of experience in warehouse operations and forklift certification while providing benefits such as medical, vision, and paid time off.
The Warehouse Associate II will assist in the offloading, receiving, shipping, storage, and distribution of products in a warehouse environment. Daily tasks involve bar code scan applications that record movement, receipt, and status changes to inventory. Timely and efficient completion of job duties is critical, as is safely operating industrial power equipment such as a forklift and cherry picker.
Performance of these tasks is essential to the daily operation of the RDC. Outbound task execution within required time frames is critical to meeting commitments to customers, dealer partners, third‑party delivery providers, and shareholders. Timely and accurate receipt and stocking of inbound product impacts inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and delivery scheduling.
Often required to sit, perform repetitive hand motion, hear, listen, talk, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, balance, reach overhead, crawl, pit, push, and lift up to 350 pounds. Sometimes required to climb stairs and ladders. Not required to shovel.
