Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Z-Dock Associate II in Madison, WI for a part-time role in our warehouse. The position involves receiving, storing, and shipping products, using barcode scans, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities include operating heavy equipment (forklift, cherry picker), cycle counts, and ensuring safety and efficiency in daily warehouse tasks. Prior experience in warehousing and strong teamwork are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent with 1–2 years in delivery, warehousing, receiving, packing, shipping and/or storage of goods.
• Forklift certification required; cherry picker experience a plus.
• Basic computer skills for inventory logs and databases.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to move heavy items up to 350 lbs. for several hours.

Responsibilities

• Receive, transport and stock inbound products from manufacturing facilities or suppliers.
• Fulfill orders by locating, transporting, offloading and scanning outbound product to shipping lanes.
• Record stock locations into the inventory system and ensure accurate inventory records.
• Perform inventory cycle counts as needed to meet company requirements.
• Operate heavy industrial equipment and work at heights with fall protection.
