Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Romulus, MI is seeking a Z-Dock Associate II to assist with offloading, receiving, storing, and shipping furniture products in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will operate forklifts and cherry pickers, input inventory data, pick and pack orders, and help maintain safe, efficient processes to meet delivery schedules. This role requires physical stamina and teamwork in a safety-conscious setting with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; 1-2 years in warehousing or related field.
• Forklift certification required; cherry picker experience a plus.
• Basic computer skills for inventory logs and databases.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to move heavy items up to 350 lbs for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive, offload and stock inbound products; record locations in the inventory system.
• Fulfill orders by locating, transporting, offloading and scanning outbound product to shipping lanes.
• Operate heavy equipment and work at heights with fall protection; maintain safety.
• Perform inventory cycle counts as required to meet compliance.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized; follow safety regulations.
