Job summary

Westrock Coffee is seeking a Warehouse - Receiver at the Collins facility to ensure accurate receiving of deliveries, verify product and quantity against BOL and delivery schedules, and upload documents to NetSuite.

You will operate a powered lift truck, coordinate with QA and Roasting teams, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and follow GMP and safety procedures. A high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in manufacturing are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• 1–2 years' experience monitoring product quality preferred.
• 1–2 years of certified forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives deliveries and verifies product and quantity against BOL and delivery schedule.

Job description

The Warehouse - Receiver is responsible for accurately receiving all deliveries into the Westrock Collins facility. This position reports to the Inventory Supervisor and Inventory Specialist.

Job Duties:

• Performs truck inspection before accepting the load.
• Verifies product and quantity received matches bill of lading (BOL) and delivery schedule to ensure proper invoicing.
• Operate a forklift in a safe and proficient manner.
• Partners with Quality Assurance team on the collection of green coffee samples for testing which includes moisture and temperature.
• Communicates with Roasting and Grinding/QA team with staging of green coffee deliveries.
• When applicable properly receive products against PO's and upload documents to NetSuite, notifying relevant parties/individuals of parcels.
• Accurately receives transfer orders from other Westrock locations.
• Operates a powered lift truck to perform job duties.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform all duties and actions in a safe manner and continuously monitor areas to ensure that safety procedures are being followed.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, safety and GMP requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1-2 years' experience monitoring product quality.
• 1-2 years of certified forklift experience.
• Strong mathematical skills using percentages and fractions while working with recipes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics.
• Basic computer skills. (Microsoft Office)
