Job summary

Westrock Collins is seeking a Warehouse - Receiver to accurately receive all deliveries at our Collins facility. You will inspect trucks, verify quantities against BOL, and upload documents to NetSuite. The role requires forklift operation, attention to quality, and collaboration with QA and Roasting teams.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in manufacturing and forklift certification, with strong math and communication skills. Safety and GMP compliance are essential in daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience is preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience monitoring product quality is preferred.
• 1–2 years of certified forklift experience is preferred.
• Strong math skills using percentages and fractions for recipes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and inspect trucks prior to acceptance.

• Coordinate with QA on green coffee sampling for testing.

Job description

The Warehouse - Receiver is responsible for accurately receiving all deliveries into the Westrock Collins facility. This position reports to the Inventory Supervisor and Inventory Specialist.

Job Duties:

• Performs truck inspection before accepting the load.
• Verifies product and quantity received matches bill of lading (BOL) and delivery schedule to ensure proper invoicing.
• Operate a forklift in a safe and proficient manner.
• Partners with Quality Assurance team on the collection of green coffee samples for testing which includes moisture and temperature.
• Communicates with Roasting and Grinding/QA team with staging of green coffee deliveries.
• When applicable properly receive products against PO's and upload documents to NetSuite, notifying relevant parties/individuals of parcels.
• Accurately receives transfer orders from other Westrock locations.
• Operates a powered lift truck to perform job duties.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform all duties and actions in a safe manner and continuously monitor areas to ensure that safety procedures are being followed.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, safety and GMP requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
