Job summary

Interstate Batteries in Texas is seeking a Warehouse Team Member I to accurately process system and manual transactions, load and unload batteries, and maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment. No experience is required, and training on RF barcode scanning devices, WMS applications, forklifts, and battery handling will be provided.

The role demands reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
• No experience required; warehouse Ops experience preferred (RF equipment, forklift, pallet jack, stretch-wrap).
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems.
• High accuracy, urgent and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• Load and unload batteries.
• Restock batteries.
• Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations.
• Charge, test, clean and date adjustment batteries.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
• Operate a forklift and maintain current certification.
• Tag pallets for transfer, pick, pack, ship.
• General warehousing duties and housekeeping.
