Job summary

Interstate Batteries in Houston is seeking a Warehouse Team Member I to accurately complete distribution center tasks using RF scanners, various handling equipment, and WMS systems. You will load/unload batteries, restock, and maintain safety and accuracy across warehouse operations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and solid communication skills; no prior experience required, though forklift certification is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• No prior warehouse experience required; experience in warehouse ops is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process receiving, transfers, picking, packing, and shipping transactions.
• Load and unload batteries and restock inventory.
• Charge, clean, date, and rewrap rotations; test batteries as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean warehouse; operate forklift and stay certified.
• Tag pallets and perform general warehouse duties and housekeeping.
• Multi-task and switch between tasks as needed by the team.
