Big Sandy Superstore is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Ohio to load and unload freight, assist customers, and support inventory control. You will process customer pickups, verify details, and help ensure a smooth in-store experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, following procedures, and collaborating with management to keep the warehouse orderly and efficient. This full-time role offers benefits and opportunities for growth within the Retail Home Furnishings division.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to sit/stand for up to a 10 hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Ensure total customer satisfaction through courteous service while loading/unloading merchandise.
• Record all required data for customer pick-ups and returns, including verification of license numbers and vehicle models.
• Verify customer balances and that merchandise can be safely received.
• Inspect merchandise on receipt for integrity and accuracy in inventory.
• Maintain safety and follow company rules; use proper safety equipment.
• Keep management informed and maintain floor displays per Visual Merchandiser instructions.
• Complete warehouse closing checklist and ensure all tasks are closed properly.
• Maintain records and files in an orderly condition, and assist with deliveries outside of the store as needed.
