SSC - Warehouse Associate

We are hiring immediately for a full-time Warehouse Associate position at SSC.

Location: TAMU - 600 Agronomy Road, College Station, TX 77843. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirements: Valid driver's license required. Previous customer service and purchasing experience preferred. Forklift certification is preferred.

Pay Range: $14.00 - $17.50 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Receives, stores, and distributes materials, tools, equipment, and products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reads schedules and orders to determine items to be moved or distributed.
• Conveys materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Places materials on racks, shelves, or in refrigerated rooms according to specifications.
• Fills requisitions and distributes items to production or shipping departments.
• Assembles customer orders and prepares them for shipping or storage.
• Marks materials with identifying information and records amounts received or distributed.
• Uses computer systems to enter records and compile worksheets or tickets.
• Drives vehicle to transport items as needed.
• Maintains inventory records and performs other duties as assigned.

Safety and Policies:

• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and temperature maintenance following HACCP standards.
• Adheres to all company policies and safety procedures, including the use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
