Role Overview

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently pulling customer orders, palletizing, and moving products within the warehouse using motorized equipment like Electric Pallet Jacks. We value teamwork, perseverance, and making a positive impact.

Compensation and Schedule

Starting pay rate: $20.25/hr

Schedule: Friday to Monday, 8:00 AM start

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify proper products and counts
• Stage pallets in appropriate warehouse bays
• Shrink wrap and label pallets with correct information
• Report safety concerns immediately
• Operate pallet jacks safely and efficiently
• Build stable, well-cubed pallets
• Park and recharge equipment at shift end

Requirements

• Good judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision

Experience

• Warehouse/Receiving experience
• Experience with electric pallet jacks
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Understanding of warehouse procedures across departments

Work Environment

This onsite role requires working at one of our UNFI locations, such as a distribution center.

Physical Demands

• Lift up to 75 pounds, stand, walk, bend, and twist frequently
• Work in temperature ranges from -20°F to 90°F
• Perform repetitive movements and work overhead
• Operate equipment and maintain good balance and coordination
• Visual acuity including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception
