Job summary

Viking Electric in Oshkosh, WI is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler to move products from the warehouse to customers. You will help fill orders, package items, and prepare shipments in a fast-paced team environment.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs with assistance, standing/walking for long periods, and basic math skills. Training is provided for forklift and handheld scanners, with full benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to stand and walk for much of the shift.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract).
• Willingness to learn forklift and handheld scanning devices (training provided).
• Authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/material using forklift, pallet jack, or similar equipment.
• Count, check and record items coming into or leaving the warehouse.
• Use a handheld device to scan barcodes and labels to track inventory levels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack and route material for delivery or storage.
• Help keep products organized and free from damage.
• Follow safety procedures to keep the warehouse secure.
