Job summary

United States Cold Storage is seeking a Warehouse Labor candidate for the McClellan, CA location. The role involves preparing products for movement, picking, loading/unloading into trailers, and using RF equipment and forklifts. Duties include inventory checks, stacking, and counting; strong safety practices are required.

The position is full-time, Mon-Fri 12:00pm-8:30pm with overtime as needed. Prior warehouse experience and ability to handle physical tasks are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year experience in warehouse environment preferred.
• 6 months minimum experience with pallet jacks and related powered industrial equipment.
• Good arithmetic, reading, and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trailers and verify proper stacking and freight not being mixed on pallets.
• Identify and recover any received or shipping damage consistent with Company policy.
• Assist in physical inventories with use of scanners and ensure proper stock rotation by lot numbers.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring correct items and lot numbers.
• Move product from staging areas into railcars or trailers.
• Handle labeling and stacking of cases as part of project work.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
