Job summary

Cardinal Health in Indianapolis is hiring for Warehouse Operations. The role involves receiving, storing and shipping products, using RF scanning and voice-pick technologies, and operating heavy equipment.

You will participate in cross-training across inbound and outbound processes and work under supervision to meet daily quotas. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
• Ability to follow direction and change priorities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• 1-2 years experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred
• Must be flexible to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements

Responsibilities

• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas including inbound and outbound
• Receive large boxes on dock, scan with RF scanner, input product data
• Break down cases and operate heavy equipment to replenish warehouse
• Use voice-pick system to select large or small items
• Palletize items and wrap for shipment
• Pack small items in boxes
• Operate material handling equipment (order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret, pallet jack)
