Job summary

Cardinal Health is hiring for a Warehouse Operations Associate II to support outbound activities and inbound receiving. You will process orders, pick items, and assist with shipping while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort with heights. Overtime may be required based on business needs; prior RF scanner or PIT experience is preferred. Cardinal Health emphasizes an inclusive workplace and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
• Previous material handling equipment experience (PIT) preferred.
• RF scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders including picking, quality checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing and preparing orders for shipment.
• Follow directions and adapt priorities while working independently or in a team.
• Pick large case items with equipment or small items and place on cart.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) to check in/out products.
• Operate material handling equipment as required (e.g., order picker, forklift, reach/truck).
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and perform inventory control tasks.
• Adhere to site safety regulations including PPE requirements.
