Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support inbound and outbound operations in a distribution center. The role involves receiving large boxes, scanning products with RF scanners, inputting data into systems, and picking customer orders with accuracy.

You will transport, stage, and replenish products, while maintaining 5S standards and adhering to safety policies. The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long shifts, and rotating through areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 - 2 years related experience preferred.
• Previous material handling experience strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs. and be able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift of 8 hours or more required.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse.
• Work at heights up to 25 feet consistently.
• Adherence to site safety regulations including wearing required personal protective equipment such as steel toed safety shoes, and material handling equipment safety harness; accountable to Cardinal Health’s EHS as well as QRA policies and procedures.
• Aptitude to work in a fast paced distribution environment while meeting hourly established distribution quotas and performance standards

Responsibilities

• Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse including Inbound and Outbound.
• Receive large boxes on warehouse dock, scan product with RF scanner, and input product information into computer.
• Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Safely transport, stage, and replenish product throughout the distribution center.
• Load and unload product as required to support outbound operations.
• Perform housekeeping and maintain 5S standards within assigned areas.
• Meet established productivity, quality, and attendance expectations.
• Follow all Cardinal Health safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Work collaboratively with team members and leadership to achieve service and productivity goals.
• Palletize large items to skid and wrap for shipment
• Pack small items in boxes
• Drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes: order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider
