Job summary

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring immediately for a full-time Warehouse Associate in Hayward, CA. You will support loading/unloading, staging furniture, and keeping the warehouse organized to ensure rental-ready items for deliveries.

The role offers $21–$25 per hour, with eligibility for a Performance Sharing Plan bonus, paid training, and comprehensive benefits. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable transportation required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehousing experience preferred; forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks for daily routes with care and proper item placement.
• Pull and stage furniture for deliveries to ensure efficiency.
• Clean, touch up, and repair furniture to keep items rental-ready.
• Maintain and clean the warehouse, manage cardboard and trash disposal.
• Assist drivers on deliveries when needed and participate in safety meetings.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
