Job summary

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring immediately for a full-time Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, load/unload trucks, and prepare furniture for deliveries. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be cross-trained across warehousing tasks to ensure items are rental-ready and delivered on time.

Eligible applicants must be at least 18, have reliable transportation, and pass a background/drug screen.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehousing experience preferred; priority consideration will be given to candidates with more and relevant experience.
• Forklift Operator certification preferred; on-the-job certification provided.
• Physically able and willing to move furniture; ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis or 100 pounds with a partner.
• Able to operate equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks.
• Must pass drug screening (does not include THC) as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks for daily routes, ensuring no scratches or damage and correct item placement.
• Pull and stage furniture for the next day's deliveries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Clean, touch up, and repair furniture to ensure it is rental-ready.
• Maintain and clean the warehouse, including breaking down cardboard and dumping trash.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy, relocating products as needed.
• Participate in safety meetings, perform daily warm-ups, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist drivers on deliveries when needed.
• Participate in special projects and other tasks as assigned.
