Job summary

CORT Furniture Rental in Michigan is hiring immediately for a full-time Warehouse Associate. You will help with loading/unloading trucks, staging furniture for deliveries, and keeping the warehouse organized to ensure furniture is rental-ready.

This role offers an hourly pay of $18–$19, a Monday–Friday schedule, paid training, health insurance eligibility, and a 401(k) with company match. Candidates should be at least 18, capable of lifting 50+ pounds, and able to pass a drug screen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly or 100 pounds with a partner.
• Forklift certification preferred; on‑the‑job certification provided.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks for daily routes, ensuring no scratches or damage and correct item placement.
• Pull and stage furniture for the next day's deliveries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Clean, touch up, and repair furniture to ensure it is rental-ready.
• Maintain and clean the warehouse, including breaking down cardboard and dumping trash.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy, relocating products as needed.
• Participate in safety meetings, perform daily warm-ups, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist drivers on deliveries when needed.
• Participate in special projects and other tasks as assigned.
